It all started out as a passionate love for music.

Recognized by many international acts like Thomas Dolby, Freedom Williams, Gregory Abbott, Real Life, Rock Steady Crew and more...doctormix transforms the entire concept of retro music into a hip, pulsating dance phenomenon that appeals to radio listeners worldwide.

He began his career in the mid 80s managing & DJing a mobile disco started by his Dad and his brother Julius. Eventually, his passion for music and radio got him an audition for Singapore's No.1 Hit Music Station, 987FM. Got a spot and started his broadcasting days in 1995. In 1997, he was asked to create a weekly Radio Show on Singapore's No.1 English Radio Station, CLASS 95FM called 'Retro Nite with doctormix' and the rest is history.

He wanted the world to enjoy his mixes and infect the universe with retro fever. In 2002, he decided to syndicate & market his successful retro dance show Worldwide. 

Over the last 8 years, his radio show called 'the best in retro with doctormix' was broadcasted in more than 100 cities/countries in North & South America, Europe, Asia & Africa.

- the 70s Dynomite Mix!

With an established broadcast platform, "the best in retro with doctormix" is spreading its infectious brand of retro & Top 40 tracks to the masses. 

The show can be best described as coming close to the H.G. Wells novel, The Time Machine, by taking listeners through a musical journey beltin' out massive block rockin' beats from the 70s, 80s, 90s and current Top 40 grooves.
